A business based in Rugby have joined forces with DB Charles Recruitment to identify and hire a new Communications Officer to join the ranks. The role is full time permanent and will be hybrid (2 days home / 3 days office).
For this position, the hired individual will sit amongst the marketing and ecommerce team, reporting into a senior team member, where the main focus of the role will be to create new, engaging and on trend communications across the businesses various channels internally and amongst its members & clients it services. Key day to day duties for the role will include:
*Creating & distributing new content, varying in press releases, newsletters, website updates, promotions, events, social media etc
*Creating comms across digital, social, print and email
*Storytelling
*Campaign creation
*Working closely with other members of the marketing team
*Managing 3rd party relationships with stakeholders, media partners etc
*Event support
*Monitor, analyse and utilise data and results
*Plus many more
For this position, the client would like candidates to have a number of the below experiences and skills:
*Previous experience within a similar role (communications, social media, content etc)
*If someone holds a supporting educational background towards marketing would be advantageous. Such as a degree holder in subjects like Marketing, English, PR etc
*Strong MS Office skills
*Experienced in Adobe packages
*Previous experience managing social media platforms
*Fantastic writing skills
*Highly creative
*The hired person must be able to commit to a hybrid position, requiring someone in the office in Rugby for x3 days a week (preferably Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
This hybrid role will be working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, x3 days a week in the office and the business for the right hire, can offer a salary dependent of experience between £30,000 to £35,000 per annum.
