A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across infrastructure, commercial, and residential sectors.
The Role
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will take a leading role in the delivery of geotechnical projects, from site investigation through to design and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing and delivering ground investigation and geotechnical design projects
*Producing and reviewing factual and interpretative reports
*Designing foundations, retaining structures, and earthworks
*Supervising site works and subcontractors
*Mentoring junior engineers and supporting their development
*Liaising with clients and contributing to business development activities
*Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
Requirements
*Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Geology
*Working towards or achieved Chartered status (ICE or equivalent)
*Strong experience in ground investigation and geotechnical design
*Proficiency in relevant design software
*Excellent report writing and communication skills
*Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
