Talent Finance are working with a dynamic, multi-entity group to appoint a commercially focused Group Management Accountant for a business based in Poole. This is a key role within the finance function, offering real ownership of reporting, performance insight, and financial planning across a complex, fast-moving environment.

You will take responsibility for delivering accurate, meaningful financial information that supports decision-making across the business.


Key responsibilities include:
*Preparation of monthly group management accounts with clear, insightful variance analysis
*Development and continuous improvement of reporting packs, dashboards and KPI frameworks
*Delivery of forward-looking financial insight, including trend analysis and scenario modelling
*Ownership of budgeting, forecasting and longer-term financial planning processes
*Full oversight of manufacturing accounting, including margin and cost analysis
*Business partnering with operational and senior stakeholders to challenge and support performance
*Supporting strategic initiatives through financial modelling and investment appraisal
*Managing and developing a small team within the management accounting function


About you:
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience
*Strong background in management accounting or FP&A, ideally within a manufacturing or trading environment
*Proven experience owning month-end processes and management reporting
*Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate data into clear insight
*Advanced Excel skills and confident working with reporting tools
*Comfortable influencing stakeholders and operating in a fast-paced environment
*Leadership experience or the capability to develop into a leadership role
