This organisation is a well-established player in the financial services industry seeking a motivated and detail-driven Assistant Accountant to support the Financial Accountants and Financial Reporting Manager. You will play a key role in the organisation’s management reporting, statutory accounting, and daily financial operations.
Description
*Prepare monthly management reporting, including reconciliation of management information and intercompany balances.
*Produce daily financial reports
*Manage accruals and prepayments
*Balance sheet reconciliations.
*Maintain the fixed asset registers.
*Oversee expense processes
*Support consolidation of accounts
*Assist with quarterly VAT returns.
*Provide support for core banking systems within the Finance team.
*Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis to support senior management decision-making.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
*Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
*Knowledge of working in a similar role
*Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
