About the Company
This is a high performance motorsport manufacturing business specialising in the production of precision engineered components for elite motorsport applications.
The Role
A skilled Universal Grinder is required to join a precision engineering environment in Coventry. You will be responsible for grinding high specification components, with a strong focus on internal grinding operations, working to extremely tight tolerances and high quality standards.
*Set, operate and adjust universal grinding machines
*Carry out internal grinding on precision components to tight tolerances
*Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications
*Perform self inspection using measuring equipment including micrometers and bore gauges
*Ensure all components meet strict quality and performance standards
*Maintain a clean and safe working environment
About You
*Proven experience as a Universal Grinder
*Strong background in internal grinding is essential
*Experience within precision engineering or motorsport or aerospace sectors
*Ability to work to tight tolerances and high quality standards
*Confident reading technical and engineering drawings
*Self motivated with excellent attention to detail
