Are you an Employment Solicitor looking to take the next step in your career with a respected regional firm known for its strong client base and supportive culture?
A well-established Leeds firm is continuing to grow its Employment team and is keen to recruit an ambitious solicitor. While the role is ideally suited to someone around 5 years PQE, applications from all levels will be considered. The team is open to developing the right individual, making this a strong opportunity whether you are looking to step up or further establish yourself.
You will work closely with an experienced Head of Department, gaining exposure to a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work. The team advises both individuals and businesses on a wide range of matters, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, settlement agreements and workplace disputes, offering you varied and high quality work.

The Role
• Manage a varied employment law caseload with appropriate supervision
• Advise on both claimant and respondent matters
• Handle cases from initial instruction through to resolution
• Represent clients in Employment Tribunal matters
• Draft legal documentation including contracts, policies and settlement agreements
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver excellent client care
• Support colleagues and contribute to team development
About You
• Qualified Solicitor with employment law experience
• Ideally around 5 PQE, though all levels will be considered
• Experience of Employment Tribunal processes preferred
• Strong technical and drafting skills
• Commercial and pragmatic approach to problem solving
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
