Work Pattern: Days: 07:30 till 16:00hrs and Nights: 16:00 to 02:00hrs
BAE are currently seeking a dedicated Associate Mechanical Operator to join their team on a contract basis at RAF Marham
Key Responsibilities:*Will carry out metalworking & corrosion remediation activities on aircraft
*Role will be working within a close knit team in a multi-skilled / multi-disciplined environment carrying out required repairs and maintenance activities
*At this level the post holder is competent to work to basic maintenance instructions, has a working appreciation of the approved data set and works in accordance with the organisation’s AMC documentation set
Job Requirements:*Will be undertaking metalworking activities on an aircraft which will include, preparation of metal and composite structures for repair, drilling and reaming of aircraft panels and structures, application of adhesive bonding, removing and installing various types of aircraft fasteners.
*Procedure/Standards - Complying with the Organisations MOE, its associated procedures and standards, and any other company procedures and standards
*Safety Management System - You will understand and apply human factors, error management, within maintenance
*Continuing Airworthiness Assurance (Quality) - Ensuring maintenance activities are compliant with the Continuing Airworthiness Assurance Management system
