A Payroll Supervisor is sought to work for a healthcare business based near Sandhurst in Kent. This is a temporary role reporting to the Financial Controller whilst a new payroll accounting system is implemented.
Duties will include
*All aspects of running a monthly payroll for 400 employees using Access Payroll
*Overseeing and processing payroll changes for new starters, terminations, and pay amendments
*Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
*Accurately processing statutory payments, implementing code changes, and attachments to earnings
*Ensuring HMRC monthly submissions are completed accurately and on time
*Liaison with the Auditors and management of payroll tax audits
*Preparation of monthly payroll journals
*Maintenance of payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
*Checking and submitting timesheets and supporting documentation to ensure payroll is accurate and within budget
*Escalating any concerns and queries to the management team
The successful candidate will have held a similar position for a minimum of 2 years, demonstrating a high level of customer service, confidentiality, and professionalism. Please note that this role is office-based, and due to the location, applicants must be car-owner drivers.
