We’re looking for a Director of Regional Engagement & Business Development to join our team on a permanent basis. This role offers a salary of £107,500-£117,500 and is a remote position with close transport links to London.
What you will be doing;
*Overall responsibility for leading the Key Client Accounts and business development teams to deliver budgeted intake numbers across the UK and to grow ICAEW’s market share.
*Responsible for leading ICAEW’s regional member support and driving engagement with Local Networks to ensure that ICAEW’s strategy is delivered locally across the UK.
*Develop a Key Client Account function for all major ATEs, collaborating with colleagues from across the Institute to share insights and coordinate engagement
*Collaborate with the Directors for International, Business and Practice to ensure that the support and value proposition for ICAEW members is aligned and accessible, irrespective of location.
*Collaborate with colleagues in Learning and working with Student Societies to drive regional engagement and support for ICAEW students.
What you will need;
*Extensive B2B business development leadership experience, with a strong track record in driving growth, market share, and client satisfaction
*Strong commercial acumen with proven success managing key client accounts and strategic partnerships across regions
*Experienced in stakeholder engagement and relationship management across ATEs, local networks, and professional bodies, with strong influencing and negotiation skills
*Demonstrated ability in lead generation, sales conversion, contract management, and cross-functional collaboration within professional services/accountancy
*Insight-driven approach, with experience using data to inform strategy or public policy (desirable), alongside strong IT skills (MS Office, CRM such as D365)
*Effective leader with excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills; proactive, adaptable, and knowledgeable of the UK professional services/accountancy sector
