Job Title: Account Manager
Location: NN3, Northampton
Salary: Up to £50,000 (OTE £60,000)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing business based in NN3, who are looking to appoint an experienced Account Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual to manage and grow existing customer relationships while contributing to overall revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage and build strong relationships with key customers
*Understand client needs and deliver the right products and services
*Follow up on leads, proposals, quotations, and send out samples
*Identify opportunities to grow accounts through upselling and cross-selling
*Handle day-to-day queries and resolve customer issues efficiently
*Arrange and attend customer meetings (both on-site and in the field)
*Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
*Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting
Skills & Experience
*Proven experience in account management or B2B sales within a buy-sell environment
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*Good commercial awareness
*Highly organised, proactive, and confident dealing with customers
*Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft 365
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
*Sales targets achieved
*Meaningful Selling Interactions (MSIs)
*Deals won

*Basic salary up to £50,000 with an OTE of £60,000
*Bonus structure including circa 5% annual bonus plus up to £600 monthly based on KPI achievement
*Company car
*Company laptop and mobile phone
*Office-based role with 2 days per week on the road
