Job Title: Accounts Assistant (12-Month FTC)
Location: Sheffield (4 days per week) & Manchester (1 day per week)
Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm (flexibility available)
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on behalf of a well-established and fast-paced organisation to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with strong potential to become permanent.
This is a fully office-based role, primarily based in Sheffield, with one day per week in the Manchester office.

Key Responsibilities
*Processing and managing bank transactions
*Handling purchase ledger invoices and reconciliations
*Managing credit card transactions and reconciliations
*Overseeing petty cash transactions and reconciliations
*Processing and reviewing staff expenses
*Completing sales ledger reconciliations and debt collection
*Maintaining accurate financial records using Sage software
*Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc accounting duties
Person Specification
*Strong attention to detail with a genuine passion for numbers
*A positive and enthusiastic approach, with the ability to thrive in a busy office environment
*Professional and thoughtful communication skills when dealing with stakeholders
*Excellent organisational and time management abilities
*A team player with a collaborative mindset
*Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
