Credit Controller - Up to £35,000 - Poole
We’re looking for a Credit Controller to join a busy, office-based finance team in Poole on a fixed-term basis. Key Responsibilities:In this Credit Controller role, you’ll take ownership of customer accounts and ensure effective debt management:
*Act as the main point of contact for customer account queries
*Manage reconciliations, customer portals, and EDI integrations
*Review accounts for creditworthiness and recommend limits and terms
*Monitor and collect outstanding debts to maximise cash flow
*Resolve invoice and payment queries efficiently
*Produce and distribute statements, reminders, and overdue letters
*Generate weekly and ad hoc reports on credit status and holds
*Proactively manage new accounts and high-value invoices
*Support month-end processes including consolidated invoicing

What we’re looking for:
To succeed as a Credit Controller, you’ll bring:
*Previous experience in credit control or a similar finance role
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Excellent communication and customer service abilities
*Confidence managing multiple accounts and priorities
*A proactive approach to problem-solving
*Good knowledge of finance systems and processes
