About the RoleProtocol Education is seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with a range of special educational needs across our partner schools. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities*Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD).
*Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
*Support pupils with emotional regulation, communication, and social development.
*Implement EHCP targets and behaviour support strategies.
*Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
*Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
Requirements*Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school or care setting).
*Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
*A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
*Right to work in the UK.
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
*Relevant training (e.g., Team Teach, Autism Awareness, Safeguarding) is desirable but not essential.
