Lecturer – Engineering (Part-Time)

We are seeking a Lecturer in Engineering to deliver modules on L6 Electrical Power and L6 Control Systems at East Sussex College. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about electrical engineering and have a strong desire to impart knowledge and skills to students in higher education.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
*Deliver engaging and informative lectures on L6 Electrical Power and L6 Control Systems.
*Prepare course materials and assessments in line with the module requirements.
*Engage with students through lectures and available office hours to enhance their learning experience.
*Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
*Stay updated with the latest developments in electrical engineering to ensure the delivery of current and relevant content.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*A minimum of a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
*Proven experience in teaching electrical power systems and control systems at a university level.
*Strong understanding of the operational principles, design, and analysis of electrical power systems.
*Proficiency in using educational technology and software tools like MATLAB/Simulink, PowerWorld, or PSS/E for power system analysis.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and faculty.
