Are you an experienced recruiter who thrives on developing others?

We’re hiring a Sales Trainer to take a leading role in driving commercial excellence within a high-growth search firm. This position is all about elevating consultant performance on the sales floor, building skill, confidence, and capability across the team.

This is an immersive, on-desk training position where you’ll work directly with consultants at every level, from graduates taking their first calls to seasoned hires refining their edge.
Your day-to-day will involve live call shadowing, real-time coaching, and embedding habits that fuel long-term success.

Alongside this, you’ll contribute to structured training programmes covering everything from market understanding and client development to sourcing, pitching, and deal execution.

Key Responsibilities
*Deliver hands-on sales training through live call shadowing, real-time feedback, one-to-one coaching, and desk-side refreshers on sourcing, outreach, client engagement, pitching, and closing.
*Act as a trusted coach and role model, reinforcing high-performance behaviours and supporting consultants across all levels.
*Partner with management to identify skills gaps and build targeted training interventions that directly enhance performance.
*Monitor consultant development against training goals and probation milestones, providing structured feedback to leadership.
*Strengthen leadership capability by equipping managers with coaching tools and embedding a consistent performance framework.
*Gather feedback and performance data to continually refine training content and maximise commercial impact.
*Research and introduce new methods, tools, and techniques to maintain an innovative and commercially relevant training offering.
*Support the firm’s graduate training academy, ensuring new joiners acquire strong habits quickly and confidently.
*Build effective relationships across the business to coordinate training activity aligned with commercial priorities.
*Act as a cultural champion promoting learning, growth, accountability, and high standards.

What We’re Looking For
*Background in agency recruitment or executive search within a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
*Passion for developing people - enjoys coaching, shadowing, and sharing knowledge practically and constructively.
*Energetic, confident, and commercially minded; able to directly connect training to revenue outcomes.
*Highly proactive and adaptable, comfortable operating in a scale-up setting.
*Excellent communication skills, with the ability to give clear, constructive, and actionable feedback.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance on-desk coaching with broader training projects.

What’s in it for you?
*Direct influence on consultant performance and business outcomes.
*Be part of an ambitious growth journey, including US expansion.
*A genuinely high-performance culture that values its people and invests in their development.
*An opportunity to innovate and shape the future of the firm’s People & Culture function.
*Purpose-led environment with strong values and big ambitions.
*Competitive salary, bonus, and benefits, plus ongoing development investment.
*Hybrid working model, energetic office culture, and regular socials.

With an outstanding working culture, and impressive benefits and salary package offering, this is a fantastic opportunity to take your career to the next level.
