Assistant Financial Accountant
Location: Didcot
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid
Reed Accountancy Oxford are incredibly proud to be supporting a market leader based in South Oxfordshire who are seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their Group Finance Department. This role is crucial within their Finance team, offering a dynamic environment where you can bring your expertise to help drive our financial accuracy and efficiency. Day-to-Day of the Role:
*Produce the Group weekly sales and sundry invoices.
*Handle Group cash reporting and the production of annual statutory accounts within set deadlines.
*Prepare and manage monthly submissions to our French parent company for certain divisions.
*Produce the monthly Group management pack.
*Perform trade debtor reconciliations and maintain the group’s locally held company secretarial records and those held at Companies House.
*Collate data for reports submitted to the Office of National Statistics.
*Support the budgeting process, including raising PO’s as required.
*Perform month-end processes for commissions, reconciliations, and postings for various group and external parties.
*Manage royalty postings and reconciliations for specific divisions.
*Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required by management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Competent in Excel and the ability to understand and explain complex concepts.
*Ability to deliver to tight deadlines and manage own workload effectively.
*Resilient, with a can-do attitude and a good communicator capable of building strong relationships across multiple functions.
*Experience with Tagetik and SAP is advantageous.
*Currently studying towards ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualifications.
