About the role
We are looking for a reliable and efficient Order Picker to join our team at Venus Wine and Spirit Merchants, based at our Tottenham Depot. As a key part of our logistics team, you will be responsible for accurately picking and processing orders, ensuring timely and safe delivery of our premium products. It’s a great chance to be part of a well-established company in the industry. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring flexibility between Monday and Friday, with shifts typically scheduled from 10:00–19:00 and/or 11:00–20:00.
You will be responsible for
*Pick and process orders from our electronic picking system
*Ensure orders are accurate
*Stack items correctly for delivery
*Operate handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed
*Carry out stock replenishments
*Ensure warehouse goals are met
*Maintain a high level of health and safety standards
*Shrink wrap products to pallets
*Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
You will need
*Preferably previous experience working in a warehouse
*Attention to detail
*Ability to lift heavy objects
*Experience handling of electric pump trucks
*Positive attitude
*Self-Motivated; active
*Safety conscious
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*Good communication skills; good spoken and written English
*Ability to work well both in a team and alone
