Job Description:
*Employee Relations specialist
*UK Employment Law- must
*Contract with potential further opportunity
Employee Relations (ER) Specialist
Location: London (2 days onsite per week) (Wednesday and Thursday)
Pay: £375 per day 2x mid- senior roles (Per day via umbrella)
Contract Type: 3, with potential to extend or convert to permanent
Start: ASAP

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Employee Relations Specialist to join a dynamic HR team undergoing significant change. This position will play a key role in managing sensitive employee matters and supporting the broader business through complex people issues in a global, matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage and resolve employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and settlements.- Must be resilient and experienced with managing busy environments and workloads
*Provide expert guidance and support to managers and HR teams on employment law and risk mitigation.
*Support complex employee lifecycle processes and ER cases, driving operational excellence.
*Lead or contribute to change management initiatives across multiple geographies.
*Use HR systems (ServiceNow, Nexus, Workday) and analytics to inform strategic decision-making.
*Work collaboratively with HR colleagues and stakeholders to maintain discretion and manage sensitive situations effectively.
Experience & Skills:
*5+ years’ experience in Employee Relations roles in global, matrixed organisations.
*Experience in tech, media, retail, or gaming preferred.
*Proven ability to manage complex and sensitive employee situations with discretion.
*Strong understanding of UK employment law; EMEA experience advantageous.
*Strategic thinker with resilience, empathy, and strong influencing skills.
*Comfortable operating in ambiguity, fast-paced environments, and handling multiple priorities.
*Experience supporting creative or technical populations is a plus.
Desirable:
*Experience contributing to organisational change, cultural transformation, or international HR initiatives.
*Exposure to Workday and HR analytics tools for decision support.
*Experience working with teams in US
