Setting: Nursery Class - Primary School
Contract: Maternity Cover (Potential to Extend)
Hours: Monday to Wednesday, 8:15am - 4:00pm
Start Date: 13th April 2026
A welcoming primary school in Harrow is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse (Level 3 / CACHE Level 3) to join their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team on a part-time maternity cover basis. The position starts 13th April 2026 until the end of the Summer Term, with the potential to continue in September 2026.
The Role*Support teaching and learning in the Nursery class following the EYFS framework
*Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
*Work closely with class teachers, colleagues, and parents
*Assist in delivering high-quality early years education for 3-5-year-olds
Essential Requirements*Full Level 3 qualification (Nursery Nurse Level 3 or CACHE Level 3)
*Recent experience working in an EYFS/Nursery setting
*Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum
*Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
*Proactive, caring, and adaptable approach
Please note: only fully qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurses will be considered.
Contract Details*Part-time: 3 days per week (Monday-Wednesday)
*Maternity cover until the end of the Summer Term
*Potential to extend from September 2026
