Description
*Assist in supporting in the month end management accounts process.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
*Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team on various projects.
*Assist in processing invoices and managing accounts payable/receivable.
*Understanding detailed elements of revenue to ensure accuracy and completeness of customer billing and recognition of revenue
*Assess, analyse and challenge the business performance
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
*Relevant experience in a Progressive Accounts Assistant, or Assistant Accountant role
*Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA is preferred but not essential (Also including Finance graduates with exemptions in ACCA or CIMA)
*Strong numerical and analytical skills.
*Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
*Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
