Job Title: Paraplanner
Location: Harrogate
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join a well-established financial planning team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with advisers, delivering high-quality technical research and supporting the preparation of client advice. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where accuracy, professionalism, and client service are key priorities.
Benefits:
*Permanent role with flexibility on start and finish times
*25 days holiday, increasing by 1 day per year after 3 years’ service (up to 30 days), plus bank holidays
*Pension contribution of 5% (with additional employer NI savings rebated into pension)
*Flexible benefits package equivalent to 10% (including a minimum 3% employee pension contribution)
*7-hour working day (35 hours per week full-time)
*Consideration for part-time working arrangements
*Flexibility to start between 8:00am and 9:00am daily

Key Responsibilities:
*Accurately prepare suitability reports and client letters within agreed deadlines
*Ensure all client work is compliant and fully supported with appropriate documentation
*Undertake comparative and technical research to support client recommendations
*Conduct technical research for existing arrangement reviews
*Analyse client financial situations using fact finds, meeting notes, and adviser discussions
*Collaborate with advisers to understand client objectives and gather necessary information
*Investigate and respond to client queries accurately and efficiently
*Conduct annual client reviews
*Support advisers in delivering a high level of service to both existing and prospective clients
*Communicate with clients to provide factual updates and information
*Participate in project work where required
What We’re Looking For:
*Diploma-qualified or working towards Diploma, with a desire to achieve Chartered status
*Strong knowledge of financial products and services
*Ability to assess suitability in line with client objectives
*Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and produce detailed technical commentary
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
*Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality output
*Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with advisers and clients
Desirable Skills:
*Experience working in a paraplanning role within financial services
*Knowledge of suitability report writing and compliance requirements
*Experience in technical research and financial analysis
*Familiarity with financial planning tools and platforms
