Assistant Events Operations ManagerLocation: Ascot
Salary: £36,000 + £3,000 - £4,000 service charge
Hours: 40 hours - 5 days out of 7

About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Events Operations Manager to support the smooth running of Events and In-Room Dining operations. You will lead, coach and inspire a team to deliver exceptional, personalised service across a range of guest experiences, from private dining to large-scale events.
Assistant Events Operations Key Responsibilities*Support day-to-day management of Events & In-Room Dining operations
*Lead, train and motivate the team to deliver 5-star service standards
*Oversee event set-up and ensure all spaces meet client specifications
*Drive guest satisfaction by monitoring service quality and acting on feedback
*Manage staffing levels, rotas, and daily briefings
*Control stock, costs, payroll, and departmental expenses
*Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation
*Collaborate with Events, Sales, and Culinary teams
*Support team development through training, coaching, and performance reviews
About You*Previous experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel or luxury environment
*Strong leadership and team management skills
*Excellent communication and guest service skills
*Good food & beverage knowledge
*Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
*Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
