This Year 1 role in a Harrow primary school is perfect for someone who loves that bridge between EYFS and KS1. You’ll be helping children take their first big steps into structured learning while keeping the joy alive.
The role at a glance:
*Full-time, Monday to Friday
*Working hours typically 8:30am to 4:00pm
*September 2026 start
*Pay negotiable, aligned to your MPS level
What you’ll be doing:
*Delivering engaging KS1 lessons with a focus on phonics and early literacy
*Supporting pupils through the EYFS to KS1 transition
*Building routines, confidence, and independence
*Monitoring progress and adapting teaching to meet needs
*Collaborating with colleagues and parents
