Midlands but Hybrid role
£40,000 - £60,000 basic
22 days plus banks, pension, progression


Job Role:


*Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects
*Analyse project requirements, drawings, and specifications
*Work closely with clients, design engineers, operations, and commercial teams
*Support the delivery of profitable and compliant bids
*Ensure estimates align with industry standards and project scopes


Experience & Qualifications


*The successful candidate will have substantial experience estimating electrical schemes up to 11kV (experience up to 33kV is advantageous) and ideally possess:
*Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
*Strong knowledge of electrical industry standards, including ENA and G81
*Understanding of civil industry standards, including NJUG, traffic management, and permits
*Familiarity with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs/IDNOs) and Independent Connection Providers (ICPs)
*Knowledge of EV (Electric Vehicle) infrastructure and renewable energy systems
*Experience using Windebut or ConnectGrid (highly desirable)
