Accounts Assistant
Letchworth Garden City – Hybrid available (2 – 3 days in the office required).
£3300 - £35000


Based in Letchworth, we are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to take ownership of the Accounts Receivable function for this developing business. You’ll have an excellent eye for detail and the ability to look at the bigger picture, a great communicator with the ability to work with a dispersed management team across multiple sites.


One of the key challenges will be to build both internal relationships with site and operations managers as well as external partners.


You’ll be supported by a dedicated Finance Manager and experienced Finance Director as well as your colleagues across finance and the wider business.


There are also opportunities to grow within the role and take on more accounting responsibility over time.


Key duties:


*Ownership of Accounts Receivable Ledger:


*Sales invoicing (4 entities)
*Credit control
*Sales Receipt forecasting
*Weekly billing reports to SMT and SLT


*Bank reconciliation (2 entities)
*Credit Card transaction posting
*Management of Fixed Asset Register and posting of depreciation at month end
*Balance Sheet reconciliations, including intercompany GL and intercompany billing


Development opportunity:


*Potential for management of 1 of the entity’s full month end process and production of Management Accounts
