Our client, a 1.2 million T/O organisation in Derby, is looking for a bookkeeper to start asap.

Description
*Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers in line with organisational policies.
*Process invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently and accurately.
*Prepare and reconcile bank statements to ensure financial accuracy.
*Support the preparation of monthly financial reports for management review.
*Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
*Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as needed.
*Payroll administration for all staff.
*Monitor and manage petty cash transactions.
*Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
Profile
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
*Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role.
*Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
*Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
*The ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Job Offer
*An annual salary of £43,000
*Temporary, possibly temp to perm office based position offering flexibility and experience in the not-for-profit sector.
*37.5 hours per week although the client would consider 30 hours.
