Senior Solicitor - Banking and Finance
*Location: UK - Cardiff
*Job Type: Full-time

Our client, a leading full-service UK law firm, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Solicitor with over 10 years of post-qualification experience in Banking and Finance. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in structured finance and/or funds finance transactions.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
*Act as a legal advisor for clearing banks and other institutional lenders.
*Provide expert advice and representation on banking and finance matters, with a specific focus on structured finance and funds finance transactions.
*Lead and oversee complex financial transactions from structuring and negotiation to execution and closing, ensuring compliance with client policies and requirements and operating best practices.
*Develop and maintain existing client relationships, enhancing the firm’s reputation in the banking and finance sector.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Must be a qualified lawyer in England and Wales with at least 10 years of experience in banking and finance, acquired at a leading regional or national firm.
*Demonstrated high degree of sector knowledge and commercial awareness.
*Proven experience in acting for lenders on structured finance and/or funds finance transactions.
*Strong ability to manage and develop client relationships.
*Experienced in managing and mentoring junior solicitors and trainees.
