Graduate Town Planner - Cardiff


Are you a recent graduate with a passion for shaping places and communities? I’m currently working with a highly respected, design-led planning consultancy based in Cardiff that is looking to appoint a Graduate Town Planner to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and motivated graduate to kick-start their career in a supportive, creative, and collaborative environment.
The RoleAs a Graduate Town Planner, you’ll be working alongside experienced planners, architects, and urban designers on a wide range of exciting projects across the UK. You’ll gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the planning process, helping to deliver innovative and sustainable developments.
Key responsibilities include:
*Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications
*Supporting the production of planning statements and reports
*Conducting site appraisals and research
*Liaising with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders
*Contributing to project meetings and design discussions
About You*Recently graduated (or graduating soon) with a degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
*Working towards (or keen to work towards) MRTPI accreditation
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*A proactive, team-oriented mindset
*A genuine interest in placemaking and the built environment
