You’ll be working as Management Accountant for a large, complex organisation operating across multiple entities on a 12 month fixed term basis. Description
A duties and tasks for the Management Accountant:


*Prepare accurate management accounts and financial reports for internal stakeholders across multiple business areas
*Act as a finance partner to operational teams, supporting budget holders through regular reviews and performance meetings
*Lead on annual budget setting and in year budget management, including forecasts and variance analysis
*Develop and maintain meaningful performance and KPI reporting
*Support the preparation of statutory accounts and provide audit schedules for internal and external audit
*Provide clear, professional financial advice to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
*Contribute to longer term financial planning and business modelling
*Support tax and VAT reporting and planning activities
*Ensure strong financial controls, systems and processes are in place and continuously improved
*Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure data quality, asset accounting accuracy and compliance
*Uphold financial governance, regulatory compliance and risk management standards


Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:


*Part qualified accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience
*Proven experience in management accounting within an organisation with subsidiaries.
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
*Excellent knowledge of financial systems and relevant software.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
*Effective communication skills to liaise with non-financial stakeholders.
