We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Welsh-speaking Supply Teaching Assistant to support primary and secondary schools in the Pwllheli area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for fluent Welsh speakers who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and are looking for flexible work within education.
Key Responsibilities:
*Supporting teachers in delivering lessons through the medium of Welsh and English
*Assisting pupils with their learning on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
*Promoting the use of Welsh in the classroom and supporting language development
*Helping to manage classroom behaviour
*Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required
Requirements:
*Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
*Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
*A supportive, patient, and adaptable approach
*Strong communication skills
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
