About the RoleAs Team Leader, you will guide and support a dedicated staff team, ensuring the home provides a safe, nurturing, child-centred environment. You’ll lead shifts, mentor staff, and uphold the highest standards of safeguarding, OFSTED compliance, and therapeutic care.

Key Responsibilities*Lead, mentor and motivate your team with consistency and compassion
*Ensure high-quality care aligned with OFSTED regulations and safeguarding standards
*Build trusted relationships with young people, families, social workers and external agencies
*Champion best practice in care planning, risk management and reporting
*Promote a positive, stable, homely environment where young people can thrive
*Support continuous improvement and contribute to the home’s long-term success
What You’ll Need*Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential
*Experience working in a Children’s Residential Home
*Strong understanding of OFSTED standards, safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
*A driving licence is strongly preferred
*Confident leading shifts and supporting junior staff
*Passionate about improving outcomes for young people
