Pay: £92.63 per day (based on experience)
Are you looking for a rewarding new career where you can make a real difference every day?
Do you have experience working with people – in care, youth work, customer service, coaching, or another support role – and want to bring your skills into a school setting?
If you’re considering a career in education, this could be your perfect next step!
The Role:
We’re working with a range of schools across Leicester who are keen to support people new to education. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside teachers to support children’s learning, confidence and wellbeing.
You’ll be:
*Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who may need a little extra support
*Helping to create a calm and positive learning environment
*Encouraging, listening and guiding – just like you would in many other support-based roles
*Supporting teachers with classroom activities and behaviour management
Who We’re Looking For:
You don’t need school experience – just the right attitude and transferable skills!
*Experience in roles such as care work, youth work, support work, coaching, customer service, or volunteering
*A calm, patient and caring approach
*Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
Reliable and committed to helping children succeed
If you’ve ever considered a role in education but weren’t sure how to get started, this is your chance.
What We Offer:
*Competitive hourly pay (£14.25/hour)
*Access to free training and professional development
*Support from your own specialist consultant
*A clear route into long-term roles or teacher training if you choose
*The chance to join a welcoming school community and truly make a difference
