CMC Consulting are partnering with a high-growth business based in Bedfordshire, offering an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join a fast-paced and expanding finance team.
You’ll be working closely with internal teams and customers, ensuring effective cash collection while contributing to process improvements across the function.


Key Responsibilities:
*Manage the end-to-end credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debt
*Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to resolve queries and drive payments
*Monitor aged debt reports, proactively chasing overdue balances and reducing debtor days
*Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams
*Allocate incoming payments and maintain accurate customer account records
*Produce regular reporting on debtor performance, cash flow, and risk exposure
*Support month-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting requirements
*Work closely with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve disputes and improve processes
*Identify and implement improvements to credit control procedures and systems


Skills & Experience:
*Previous experience in a Credit Controller or Accounts Receivable role
*Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally
*Proactive and confident in chasing debt and resolving issues
*Good Excel and systems skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
*High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
*Positive, driven attitude with a willingness to contribute to a growing business
