Job Description:
Teqniq is searching for a Project Manager (Capital & Programme Delivery) to work in the public sector.
37 hours per week.
3 month contract.
Monday-Friday
08:30-17:00

Job Description:
Driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.
Key responsibilities:
Experience and Knowledge - Demonstrated experience in managing construction projects of similar scale and complexity preferably within a Capital Programme for Social Housing. (Roof Replacement, Structural Works, Kitchen & Bathrooms etc).
Leadership and Team Management – Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate and mange teams effectively.
Communication Skills – Clear and effective communication with stakeholders, clients and team members and able to submit professional monthly reports to Head of Service.
Problem-Solving Ability – Aptitude for identifying issues and developing effective solutions quickly.
Budget and Time Management – Proficiency in managing budgets, resources and timelines to ensure project delivery is on schedule and within budget.
Safety & Compliance – A strong understanding of CDM, safety standards, regulatory compliance and brief knowledge of Decent Home Standards.
Stakeholder & Community Engagement – Ability to coordinate meaningful consultation with tenants, leaseholders, managers and community groups throughout project delivery.
Contract & Compliance Oversight – Experience administering contracts (i.e. JCT/NEC) and ensuring contractor compliance with industry standards, regulations and codes of practice.
Risk & Performance Management – Strong capability to identify risks, implement remedial actions and maintain robust monitoring, reporting and change-control processes.
