Financial Analyst
Full time office-based role
Based Southwest London
Salary: £30,000 - £40, 000+ DOE plus benefits package
We are currently recruiting for a Financial Analyst on behalf of our client, a global organisation based in Southwest London. The role of the Analyst is to support the Manager who is in turn supporting the Head of the International Department and the three International Directors. Combined the team manage, and oversee a global portfolio of companies. The companies are divided by region with a director responsible for each regional portfolio.
Responsibilities:
• Supporting the Manager in the preparation of analysis of business performance of the portfolio of companies.
• Must maintain strict confidentiality in all dealings.
• Helps builds and maintains financial models that track budgets and acquisition models of global companies
• Help monitor monthly performance of non-financial metrics such as operational and Health and Safety performance
• Liaises with global teams from portfolio companies in Australia, Europe, Canada as well as the UK
• Assists the Manager in the preparation and analysis of annual budgets
• Assists the Manager in the review of organic growth opportunities
• Role may involve limited international travel
Person specification:
• Ideally working in an international environment or dealing with various cultures in a business environment.
• Experience of building and maintaining financial modelling
• Exceptional Microsoft office skills (advanced Excel and PowerPoint)
• Degree or relevant work experience
• Comfortable with handling multiple reporting requirements against tight deadlines
• Highly organised and competent at multi-tasking and prioritising
• Strong analytic and commercial skills
• Exceptional presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
• High degree of integrity and confidentiality
• High standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in both a team environment and unsupervised with a degree of flexibility towards working hours and tasks assigned.
