Arriva Rail London is looking for a Traincare Operative to help keep our trains clean, safe and ready for service. This role also supports the safe and punctual dispatch of trains, with full training provided.

Location - Euston Train Station
Hours - 36 per week, on a rotational shift pattern.
What You’ll Do
* Clean trains to a high standard to ensure they are ready for service.

* Report any faults, damage or vandalism and carry out minor replacements (e.g., seat cushions).

* Support cleaning operations both in the depot and at out-based locations.

* Carry out basic supervisory duties where required.

* Oversee cleaning standards at out-based sites.

* Support the safe dispatch of trains (you will receive full training and competency assessments).

* Follow all safety procedures, rules and operational guidelines.

* Maintain knowledge of depot processes and daily operational requirements.

What We’re Looking For
Essential
* Ability to work well in a team.

* Experience in cleaning or practical hands-on work.

* Good awareness of workplace safety.

* Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable
* COSHH or Health & Safety awareness.

* Experience cleaning vehicles or working in an operational/industrial environment.

* Environmental or security awareness training.

* Basic IT skills.

* Experience in dispatch or rail operations (not essential — full training provided).
