Are you an experienced Credit Controller who enjoys building relationships as much as collecting cash?
A well-established and growing business in Preston is looking to strengthen its finance team with the addition of a confident and proactive Credit Controller.
This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced environment where you’ll have real ownership of your ledger and play a key role in supporting cashflow across the business.


The Role
• Managing your own section of the sales ledger
• Chasing outstanding debt via phone, email and written communication
• Investigating and resolving account queries
• Allocating receipts and reconciling accounts
• Monitoring credit limits and managing credit hold accounts
• Producing statements and customer communications
• Supporting credit reviews and making recommendations
• Taking card payments and maintaining accurate records
• Working closely with internal teams including sales


What They’re Looking For
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in a credit control role
• Confident communicator with a strong telephone manner
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proactive approach to cash collection and problem solving
• Team player with a customer-focused mindset


Nice to Have
• Experience with Excel and finance systems (e.g. Dynamics)
