Shape the future of aerospace manufacturing
At Guidant Global, we partner with world-leading organisations to connect exceptional people with meaningful opportunities. We’re currently supporting Airbus in Broughton to recruit a Production Scheduler to play a key role in planning and delivering wing production for some of the world’s most advanced aircraft.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced planner or scheduler to join a highly collaborative, data-driven environment where your work directly influences operational success and strategic decision-making.
About the role
As a Production Scheduler, you’ll sit at the heart of the production planning function, working closely with teams across Operations, Logistics, Finance, Quality, HR and Manufacturing Engineering. Your focus will be on ensuring production schedules are robust, achievable and aligned to commercial aircraft delivery commitments.
You’ll be trusted to analyse data, challenge assumptions, and develop plans that balance capacity, resources and demand - while continuously looking for smarter, more efficient ways to work.
What you’ll be doing
*Creating, maintaining and refining Master Production Schedules (MPS)
*Developing short- to mid-term tactical build plans to optimise production flow
*Carrying out capacity and resource planning to ensure workload and workforce alignment
*Monitoring schedule adherence and supporting recovery and scenario planning
*Analysing planning assumptions and driving continuous improvement
*Producing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business decisions
*Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver practical, achievable solutions
What we’re looking for
We’re keen to hear from motivated, proactive individuals who enjoy problem-solving in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
Essential:
*Proven experience in production scheduling or production planning
*Strong communication skills, with the ability to work confidently across teams
*A structured, organised approach with strong analytical capability
*Confidence working in a collaborative, multi-functional setting
*A desire to learn, develop and continuously improve
Desirable:
*Experience in aerospace or manufacturing (though transferable industry experience is welcomed)
*Familiarity with digital tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
*Working knowledge of Python or data analysis tools
Why join Guidant Global?
