Our client, a leading Lloyd’s Syndicate, have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Reinsurance Technician. Responsibilities will include assisting in the whole ceded reinsurance function, supporting the reinsurance purchasing process and covering all aspects of the team’s post-placement responsibilities.

This includes supporting the Group’s reinsurance purchasers to make sure planned arrangements are confirmed prior renewal, accurate recording of the coverage in the databases and preparing outward technical accounts, from monitoring timely premium settlements to reinsurance recovery collections, and includes the production of premium adjustments, cash losses, profit commissions with their respective monitoring of aged debt. You will be handling all aspects of Outwards Reinsurance including Excess of Loss, Proportional Treaty and Facultative RI business.

The successful applicant will have previous experience as a Senior Reinsurance Technician, ideally within a Lloyd’s Managing Agency. Experience with reinsurance automatic calculation tools would be preferable. This will be a hybrid role.
