Newly Qualified Accountant

Salary: £28,000 – £40,000 + Benefits

We are working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Brighton who are looking to appoint a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified ACA or ACCA accountant (or finalist) looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.


The Role

You will work closely with managers and partners, supporting a varied portfolio of clients while continuing to develop your technical and advisory skills.
Key responsibilities include:
*Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a range of clients
*Assisting with audits from planning through to completion
*Preparing management accounts and financial reports
*Supporting with corporation tax computations and returns
*Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
*Building strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
*Supporting junior team members where appropriate


About You

*ACA / ACCA qualified (or finalist nearing completion)
*Experience working within an accountancy practice environment
*Good knowledge of accounts preparation and ideally some audit exposure
*Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients
*Organised, detail-focused, and proactive in your approach
*Keen to continue learning and progressing your career
