This incredible school are looking for a Youth Worker to come in and join their team, to support their students with their mental health and wellbeing.
What the role as a Youth Worker entails:
*Fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for the students
*Assist the class teacher in implementing any personalised educational pans or interventions
*Provide the students with the right tools to manage and cope with their emotions
*Facilitate a safe environment to learn
Your day to day as a Youth Worker:
*Working alongside the class teacher to help the students reach their goals
*Help manage any behaviour
*Model correct coping strategies
*Encourage the students to try their best
*Support the students on their academic journey
The Successful Youth Worker will:
*You will have some experience working with children
*You will be passionate about education and helping children with their academic goals
*You must understand the importance of safeguarding
*You will be positive, enthusiastic and proactive
This is really a great role for individuals who are looking to get some experience working with children who have a hard time with their emotions and school work.
Graduates are welcome to apply as well as those with a background in sports, music, art or drama.
