Contract: Permanent (via Teaching Personnel)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Pay: £92.63 per day

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Teaching Assistant to support their Specialist Resource Base (SRB). This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong commitment to inclusive education and experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
The Specialist Resource Base provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for pupils with complex needs, ensuring every child and their family feel valued and supported. The provision offers tailored learning opportunities for pupils who require a highly differentiated curriculum and specialist strategies to enable them to thrive.
The school is seeking candidates who have experience supporting pupils with Emotional Health and Wellbeing needs, either within specialist provision or a mainstream primary setting. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to further develop their skills and experience within the field of Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and emotional wellbeing support.
Key responsibilities will include supporting pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and development through targeted strategies, working closely with teachers and specialist professionals, and helping to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

The successful candidates will play an integral role in supporting the school to meet the needs of pupils with Additional Learning Needs. The role will also involve working closely with external professionals, including specialist wellbeing teams and partner schools.
Requirements:
• Experience supporting children with Additional Learning Needs, particularly Emotional Health and Wellbeing needs
• A strong commitment to inclusive education
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) as a Learning Support Worker (or willingness to register)
All applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and relevant safeguarding procedures in line with safer recruitment practices.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
