Teaching Assistant (Full-Time) - Hounslow, West LondonAre you a skilled Teaching Assistant seeking a part-time opportunity within a supportive and welcoming primary school?
We are delighted to be working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Hounslow that is looking to appoint a reliable and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work in a positive school environment where both staff wellbeing and pupil development are a priority.
The school prides itself on its strong sense of community and offers a collaborative atmosphere, supported by an approachable and encouraging Senior Leadership Team.
Role OverviewPosition: Teaching Assistant
Start Date: Immediate (subject to vetting checks)
Location: Hounslow, West London
Pay: £100 per day (PAYE)
Hours: 08:30am - 4:00pm
Contract: Full-time, 5 days a week Mon to Fri, until July 2026
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting pupils across a range of year groups, from Reception to Year 6
*Delivering focused interventions to support pupil progress and attainment
*Providing tailored support for children with SEND
*Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery, preparation, and classroom organisation
*Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting pupils’ social and emotional development
*Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
*Adapting to different classroom needs and working flexibly across the school
*Supporting additional activities such as Breakfast Club and After School Clubs, where required
The Ideal Candidate Will:*Have prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting
*Be confident supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND
*Have experience delivering small group or one-to-one interventions
*Be proactive, flexible, and able to use their initiative
*Have strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
*Be committed to helping children achieve their full potential
