About the CompanyWe’re partnering with a highly reputable and fast-growing FMCG business based in the City of London. Known for their dynamic culture, innovation, and strong market presence, they are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure within a leading FMCG environment and work alongside a collaborative and high-performing finance function.
The RoleAs an Accounts Assistant, you will support the day-to-day finance operations during a busy period of growth and systems optimisation. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience from FMCG or retail and be confident working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities*Processing purchase invoices and supporting AP/AR activity
*Bank reconciliations and assisting with month-end close
*Managing supplier statements and resolving invoice queries
*Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks
*Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactional finance processes
*Working confidently within NetSuite, ensuring data integrity and smooth workflow management
About You*Immediately available or available on short notice (max 1 week)
*Strong background in FMCG or retail finance roles (essential)
*Hands-on experience with NetSuite (required)
*Confident with high-volume transactional finance
*Strong attention to detail and proactive in resolving issues
*Comfortable working in a fast-moving, commercial environment
*A positive team player with excellent communication skills
