Are you a Production Operative looking for a new role? Our client is a well-established manufacturer of kitchens and furniture.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Production Operative, responsible for carrying out hands-on tasks along the production line with a high level of dexterity. The role involves ensuring products meet specification requirements, operating and troubleshooting production machinery, and carrying out minor repairs where required.

Role responsibilities

*Perform day-to-day manual tasks according to the current standardised operating procedures
*Checking the quality of the product at each stage. Make adjustments as necessary to produce products that reach customer satisfaction. Reject product outside of specification.
*Complete any daily logs as required
*Ensure clean work areas at all times
*Perform preventative maintenance on production line machinery if required
*Communicate with other operatives from other shifts
*Look for continuous improvement opportunities
*Assist engineers in the repair of machinery if required
*Responsible for inventory control in your area on the line
