Are you a dependable and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming school environment? We are looking for a School Caretaker to join our team and ensure the smooth running of our facilities, supporting staff, students and visitors every day.
Key Responsibilities:
*Maintain the cleanliness, safety and security of the school premises
*Carry out routine maintenance and basic repairs as needed
*Open and close the school, managing building access and security systems
*Monitor and report health and safety concerns promptly
*Support contractors and manage deliveries and site visitors
*Ensure playgrounds, grounds and outdoor areas are safe and tidy
*Respond quickly to urgent maintenance issues or emergencies
What We’re Looking For:
*Previous experience in caretaking or maintenance, preferably in a school or similar environment
*Practical skills and ability to carry out basic repairs and upkeep
*Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
*Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
*Flexibility to cover out-of-hours duties as required
