Job description:
Role Purpose
You will be responsible for processing commercial claims, validating and invalidating claims where appropriate, maintaining accurate records, and providing a professional, collaborative service to internal teams. You’ll work closely with PBS colleagues and the wider business to meet targets and champion best-in-class customer service. This a great opportunity to work with our growing business and gain hands on experience.
What you’ll be doing
*Timely and accurate processing of commercial claims
*Liaising with Business Account Managers and Customer Finance teams to validate or invalidate claims
*Working collaboratively to resolve issues and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
*Updating SAP daily with claim activity
*Providing data and commentary for monthly balance sheet packs and account reviews
*Supporting process improvements, user testing and documentation
*Ensuring compliance with Credit Policy and the Risk & Control Framework
*Being the first point of contact to resolve claim queries with excellence in customer service


What we need from you
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Experience in credit control and/or query resolution
*Proven customer service expertise
*Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
*Ability to multitask, manage time and work under pressure
*Problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
*Ability to work collaboratively and understand end-to-end processes
*SAP knowledge and experience in a Shared Services environment is preferred but not essential
