Job Description:
Distinct Recruitment is pleased to be partnering with an award-winning firm of Chartered Accountants to recruit a Practice Manager. This is a newly created position for a hands-on, qualified accountant to work remotely for a fast-paced , rapidly expanding business.
The opportunity
The Practice Manager will take ownership of the company’s financial operations, ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and reporting. You will partner closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance and provide insights that support business growth. Key responsibilities will include:
*Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts
*Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor performance against targets
*Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and financial regulations
*Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk
*Managing and processing the monthly payroll
*Develop and maintain financial controls and processes
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), ideally with experience gained within a professional services business. This is a stand-alone and hands-on role, so you will bring a wealth of all-round finance experience, together with a professional outlook and excellent interpersonal skills.
