Job Description:
Financial Planning Administrator
Location: Newcastle (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Up to £33,000 (Negotiable, potentially slightly flexible for more experience) + Benefits
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join a well-established, national firm of wealth managers at their Newcastle office. The Role
You will play a key role in supporting Financial Advisers and senior stakeholders, ensuring the smooth processing of new and existing business while delivering excellent client service.
Key responsibilities include:
*Processing new business and top-up submissions across provider platforms, ensuring all compliance requirements are met
*Maintaining and updating back-office systems, including document management
*Liaising with providers to manage transactions such as fund switches, purchases, sales, and client payments
*Supporting asset migration projects between platforms
*Preparing client review packs and documentation for adviser meetings
*Booking annual client review meetings and managing adviser diaries where required
*Gathering information from third-party providers via phone and online systems
*Handling inbound calls and providing general administrative support
*Assisting with ad hoc projects and team initiatives
About You
*Previous experience in a Financial Planning/IFA administrative role
*Strong knowledge of provider platforms and financial products
*Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
*Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
*Proficient in using back-office systems and Microsoft Office
*Proactive, team-oriented, and able to work independently
