What Your Day Could Look Like
*Providing 1:1 and small-group support, tailored to individual needs
*Confidently moving between classes, age groups, and learning styles
*Supporting behaviour regulation using positive and calm strategies
*Assisting with personal needs, mobility, and sensory needs where required
*Encouraging confidence, independence, and emotional wellbeing
*Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create a safe, inclusive environment


Who We’re Looking For
*Confidence and previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (experience is a bonus, confidence is essential!)
*May have experience in support and care work
*Calm, patient, and resilient individuals who can adapt to change
*Someone who thrives in an ever-changing SEN environment
*Strong communication skills and a clear commitment to safeguarding


Requirements (or willingness to obtain)
To work in this role, you must be 18+ and either already have or be happy to apply for:
*Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
*Enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service
*Level 2 Safeguarding training
*Two professional references covering a 24-month period
(Don’t worry — Teaching Personnel will guide and support you through the process.)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
